Steve Smith is an LA based singer/songwriter.  Steve grew up in a small town in Iowa, influenced by the likes of The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the legendary Judy Garland.  After Steve’s arrival in Los Angeles, he set down roots and worked as a tour guide and paralegal while pursuing his love of music.

Steve works with Grammy nominated musician, Larry Treadwell.  They recently released the CD Dream Wicked.  Dream Wicked features songs written by Steve as well as those written by Steve and Larry Treadwell.  Steve and his band are currently performing in LA venues supporting his recent CD release.

Steve also works with vocal coach, Rosemary Butler.  Ms. Butler has worked with the best in the business and her background vocals can be heard on hits by Jackson Browne, James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt.  Steve is also part of the repertory troupe of Grassroots Acoustica, a monthly singer/songwriter showcase that raises money for Los Angeles charities.  During the holiday season, you can find Steve performing with the National In-Choir, which includes the best of Los Angeles musicians.  Steve is also an active member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers).
